Hogan’s Way

Hogan’s Alley, The Carnoustie Championship Course 6th hole

Follow in the footsteps of the great Ben Hogan.

As the story goes, in 1953, just two weeks prior to The Open Championship at Carnoustie, Ben Hogan arrived at Panmure Golf Club to acquaint himself not only with Links Golf (which he had never previously experienced) but also to practice with the smaller British golf ball. Hogan then went on to qualify for The Open on The Carnoustie Burnside Course and finally shot an extraordinary ever decreasing score on The Carnoustie Championship Course to become Champion Golfer of the year in 1953.

You can now follow that journey by playing these three outstanding golf courses – The Carnoustie Championship Course, The Carnoustie Burnside Course and Panmure Golf Course whilst enjoying the stylish hospitality of Carnoustie’s The Rookery Restaurant with a three-course lunch or dinner plus a delicious lunch at Panmure Golf Club.

Experience Hogan’s Way for £450.00pp over three exceptional golf courses and hospitality to match.
